A loft conversion is a much more cost-effective option than moving home, particularly in the current property climate and an extra bedroom and ensuite remain the most popular loft conversion especially in areas of the country where prices are at a premium. What’s more, making your three bedroom home a four bedroom home, can add anything up to 15 or 20 percent to its value depending on where you live..

Hip to Gable (Dormer)

This option is one of the most popular in order to gain maximum space from the loft especially on semi detached properties. The roof is extended to the outside wall where we build up the "Gable" wall. A rear Dormer is usually added where possible, see above. A new bathroom and a bedroom or two is the most common as so much more floor space is gained with a Gable Up.
